Agnes Delligatti, 91, of Fairmont passed away Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Fairmont Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fairmont. She was born on July 5, 1926 in Greentown daughter of the late William and Bertha Marie Garrity.
She retired from Owens Illinois and previously worked at Westinghouse. During World War II, she worked on B-52 Bombers as "Rosie the Riveter". She was an avid bowler and was a active member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles # 2373. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Agnes is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law Gary and Carol Delligatti of Wilmington, Delaware, Philip and Marty Delligatti of Fairmont, and four grandchildren Tara, Tiffany, and Michael Delligatti and Sophie Rae Delligatti. She is also survived by one sister Esther Weaver and one brother Fred Hawkins, Jr. both of Fairmont.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Delligatti in 1973, one daughter Diane Delligatti, two sisters Helen Munza, and Betty Freeman and two brothers Bud and Raymond Garrity.
Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Joseph Konikattil officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
