Mary Santore Pizatella, 89, of Fairmont died Saturday night June 4, 2011. She was born in Fairmont on August 22, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Angela Spatafora Santore.Along with her husband she was co-owner and Secretary/Treasurer of R. S. Pizatella Realtor and Associates, Inc. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America Court Joan of Arc #341, Sharing and Caring Cancer Survivors Group, an avid WVU football fan, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.Mary is survived by her husband Richard S. Pizatella, her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Tony Cipriani of Wellsburg, WV and her grandchildren Anthony Jay and his wife Theresa Cipriani of Los Angeles, CA and Michael Joseph and his wife Stephanie Cipriani of Wellsburg, WV.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Robert F. Pizatella and a brother Nick Santore.Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 12 o'clock noon at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Robert Perriello as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.Catholic Daughters Court Joan of Arc #341 will hold a ritual service at 3:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the funeral home. A vigil service will be held Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church 407 Jackson Street Fairmont, WV 26554 or Fairmont General Hospital Foundation 1325 Locust Avenue Fairmont, WV 26554, Attn: Frank Pulice, Jr. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.rossfh.com.
